Last ditch effort

After much frustration and tweaking, I believe I have all blogs (including Adam's) fixed and ready to receive comments......so y'all go test it out and make sure I am good to go!

Good night folks!!!!!

Bad baseball mommy

Man I am sucking at doing this daily. You would think with as much time as I spend on the computer I would be able to keep this up to date, oh well.

Last night was Noah first baseball game of the season which of course we were late. Fortunately they never start on time. It still didn't help that feeling of being a bad mom. I mean I got him dressed in the parking lot, did he have cleats? Nope, was his shirt dry from an earlier wash? Nope, not all the way. However it wasn't all my fault. Randy (Adam's dad) picked him up from school and they hung out until game time. Adam told Randy to have him at the field at 5p.m. Randy heard 5:30, that was game time. Oh well he made it on the field and they won the game. Noah got a triple and two doubles. We make the joke all the time (no in front of him)that he has to hit it to the out field, because he runs like a herd of turtles. I know we are horrible parents for making fun of how he runs. Honestly I am already over baseball season. I am not happy with the team his on, nor am I happy with the coach and team mom. She is just a little too snooty for my liking. She comes across as a know-it-all, and pushes her way or no way and if you know me you know this doesn't float. The coach well, I am not sure he has ever seen a baseball before now. I know, I know, its just t-ball, but dang this is Noah's last year in t-ball. Next year he will go into coach pitch and start getting into the real baseball. As things stand right now he will not be ready. I guess I will be brushing up on my baseball and working with him in the afternoons; it will probably be good for the both of us.

I realized last night that Noah has not quite two months of school left. Then he will be home for almost three months. Everyone always ask if we are ready for summer..hmm...let me see: fighting all day everyday, arguing over everything, cleaning up twice the mess, constant complaining of how bored they are....NO, I wouldn't call it ready! Joseph however will be tickled for about the first two weeks then he will get tired of Noah pushing him around and that is when all the fun stuff above will start. Maybe we can plan some fun outings keep everyone occupied.

I am supposed to cover the Unity kindergarten graduation again this year. I am excited, because that means a little extra money in our pockets. I really hope its enough to afford a weekend at the nearest beach. The boys and I really want to go to the ocean this year. We only plan on a weekend, because Adam hates the beach. We are talking about a man that up until last year wore blue jeans and boots on the beach. You can take the boy out of the country but not the country out of the boy.

Speaking of my country boy, he has started a blog. Ha-he-he-ha, I pressured him into it. However, he is not writing about himself or his day to day happenings. He is writing about camping and such. He wants to cover all of our outdoor experiences and the good and bad of it all. He is hoping to help other folks out with good places to hike and camp. He says that when he is looking at an area he finds another person's opinion about it and gets a better idea of the place from it. That is what he wants to do. Right now he is starting from the beginning of us and catching up to our last trip. Now, I think it is a fine idea, but he is driving me nuts trying to get his blog set up the way he wants. Instead of letting me just do it, I have to walk him through each step as he sits here and second guesses everything I am saying. Believe the person who already has two blogs or just make it up as you go, hmm such a hard decision :) So, y'all go check it out and follow weather you really care about camping or our past adventures, because he really wants followers and comments. Thanks a bunch.

I guess that's it for now. I am sure I will have more rambling to do later....Noah has ball practice this afternoon and I am sure I will be able to write up a whole page about that alone.

Hope everyone has a good day and try to stay dry!!!

A future photographer?

As most of you know already Noah had Spring Break last week. Adam and I decided to load up the rug rats and take a vacation. Nothing big or grand mind you, just some time away as a family. I will blog all about it later, but I had to share this photo of Joseph. Both of the boys wanted cameras for our trip and I thought it was a great idea for them to be able to capture on film the things they found picture worthy. I can’t wait to see what all is on their cameras, it should really be fun. I am a little flattered though; I snapped this one right as Joseph was snapping one of me! Apparently he thought mommy was picture worthy! How cute is he with his little boggin’ on??
